This project is about the power of the wind and “the myth of the controllable world”. It looks at the weather phenomenon of the wind as a powerful agent of chaotic transformation. The wind imposes both destructive and terraforming forces over the mineral and vegetal, while on a metaphorical level it also offers a potentiality of “re-worlding.” It explores the chaotic nature of the wind, considering that uncertainty and loss of control are at the heart of our way(s) of inhabiting the world. In the video, a meteorologist from fictional weather channel Kairos TV control aspects of the storm with a simple sound mixer device.
