The Well of Dreams

The idea behind the project was to collect fragments of dreams from people close to me through online forms. After gathering these dreams, I used an artificial intelligence tool to create a few base images. From these images, I moved on to the video collage process, done by myself, in order to create the project’s dreamlike atmosphere.
To project the video, I created a clay “well” that serves as a receptacle for the images. The well was attached to a screen, which can be placed either on the floor or on the wall. The intention is precisely to create a juxtaposition between the technology used (AI to generate images based on dreams) and clay, a material that has been used by humanity for millennia.
